No cookies, no tracking
This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers, social media plug-ins or third-party fonts and scripts. All content is served directly from our own web server.
Server log files
When you visit this website, our web server automatically records technical information: your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, the referring page, and your browser and operating system. We use this data only to operate and secure the website, for example to detect and prevent attacks. Log files are deleted after 30 days unless they are needed to investigate a security incident. The legal basis under the GDPR is our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Contacting us
If you email us or use the contact form, we process your name, email address, company (if given), the topic and the content of your message to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, to prepare and perform a contract. The form sends your message to us by email and does not store it on the website. For abuse prevention, the form briefly keeps a hashed (not readable) form of your IP address and the time of your request, for up to one hour. We keep correspondence for as long as needed for the purpose and to meet statutory retention obligations. The legal basis under the GDPR is Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.
Hosting and email providers
Our website and email may be operated with the help of technical service providers who process data on our behalf and are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations. Where data is transferred to a country without adequate data protection, we use recognised safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
Subject to the applicable law, you have the right to access your personal data and to have it corrected, deleted or restricted. You may also object to its processing and ask for data portability. To exercise these rights, email cyberpoint@cyberpoint.cloud. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Switzerland this is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC); in the EU, it is the authority in your country of residence.
Changes
We may update this policy when our website or the law changes. The current version is always published on this page.
